Building a Thatched Roof Khoi Hut

At Thatchscapes, we go above and beyond for our clients. Whether we need to travel oversees to complete a project, or when we are faced with special custom requests from our clients – we always head the call to deliver exactly what our clients want, even if its a Thatched Roof Koi Hut.
One of our clients had an unusual request to build a Khoi hut for him. This was a first for us, but we were excited to take on the challenge. We built the structure with blue gum laths in our factory, and had to transport the structure to the client’s site. We only had one day to complete the roof of what could very well be the first Khoi hut in Cape Town.
Our team will complete the finishing touches of this Thatched Roof Koi Hut in the next few days and we will add more photos of the final product once it’s completed.
It was an absolute pleasure helping our client with this unusual, yet exciting project.
